The Historic place of the 16th century.Sand stone's Fort, Palace and Temples with beautiful landscape on the bank of river Betwa. Orchha, a very simple village of M P with an extraordinary beauty.
Nearest airports are Bhopal Khajuraho and Agra.
From these three cities, you can reach Jhansi By train. From Jhansi railway station Orchha is 15 km and local transportation available on the station. From Khajuraho, it is four hrs distance by car taxi.

For local people, the most Important place is Ram Raja Temple...The only Temple where Ram is worshiped as A king and Idol of Rama in Padmasana with sword and shield in hands. Orchha Fort : JahangirMahal, The local Guides tell interesting story of Jahangir Mahal when Mughal emperor Jahangir asked Bundela king that He will visit Orchha for one night if king ll built a separate Mahal For him, King Bundela was in under obligation of Mughals, For this reason, king Built Jahangir Mahal but Jahangir Khan Never visited here until his life time
The colorful Wall and roof paintings with natural colors are one of the main attraction of Orchha.
The Chaataries have an amazing view from river side and premises of these place is well maintained and calm. one can hear the sound of nature.
Most Important there are a number of beautiful temples without Idol ...They have destroyed or stolen ....
